The mission of NWAG is to serve our local community as well as our country Nigeria, through empowerment, cultural enrichment, and education of women, youth and children, thereby fostering togetherness and excellence in our collective pursuits.

NWAG offers many opportunities for you to get involved in our efforts to make a difference by donating through any of our special projects. 

The Nigerian Women Association of Georgia (NWAG) plans to award 37 one-time scholarships, one per state of origin as well as one for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), in the amount of fifty thousand Naira each, to Nigerian female, undergraduate students in Nigerian universities.

Instructions:
Print, complete and submit the NWAG Application Form together with materials and documents specified below under Requirements.

Requirements:
An applicant must be a Nigerian female, undergraduate student in a NigerianUniversity. All applications must include the following:

• Proof of State of Origin – Letter of Origination from the universityor a letter from your local government office.
• Two Letters of Recommendation from any two of the following: Church Pastor/Mosque Imam, Village Head, Local Government Chairperson or one of your Lecturers.
• One Letter of Recommendation from either the Dean of your Faculty/School or your Head of Department.
• Photocopy of your current university student identification card
• A current photograph of yourself
• An explanation of why you need and should receive thescholarship (not more than one-half typed page).
• A type-written, double –spaced, two-page essay on:

“The education of our youth is compromised by frequent strikes andschool closings.If you were the first female president of Nigeria, how would you handle things differently fromPresident Jonathan or all the past presidents?”

All application entries must be typewritten and double-spaced.

All applications must be POST-MARKED or EMAILED by MAY 30, 2012. Late
applications will not be accepted. Applications may not be faxed or hand-delivered.

Note: Incomplete applications or applications that show evidence of plagiarism will be disqualified.

JOB TITLE :   PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO SALES & DISTRIBUTION EXECUTIVE

JOB DESCRIPTION:
•Manage the day-to-day administration of the assigned Exec’s office and diary.
•Develop and maintain an efficient documentation and filing (electronic and hard) process.
•Write minutes of meetings and produce memos of such for review.
•Manage sensitive matters and information regarding peculiar issues within the department.
•Cross-examine documents for Exec’s review to ensure quality control and compliance to MTNN policies.
•Handle assigned Exec’s internal and external designated correspondence.
•Collate monthly activity reports from the different units within the assigned department for the Exec’s review.
•Process all requisitions for the assigned Exec’s office.
•Perform quality control checks on assigned Exec’s presentations, to ensure proper formatting and elimination of errors.
•Respond to customer queries and requests on non-technical issues and escalate to the assigned manager / exec when necessary.
•Ensure and coordinate relevant and adequate logistics for the assigned Executive and other events connected to the assigned Executive’s office.
•Make efficient travel arrangements for the assigned Executive’s office.

JOB CONDITIONS:    Standard MTNN working conditions. Open plan office.
REPORTING TO:     Sales & Distribution Executive
REQUIRED SKILLS:
•A good first degree preferably in Secretarial Administration.
•Four years experience in an administrative capacity in a reputable company.
•Experience in administrative support for a top management personnel of a reputable company, with local and international operations.

EMPLOYMENT STATUS:  Permanent
QUALIFICATION:      A good first degree preferably in Secretarial Administration.
