NLNG was incorporated as a limited liability company on May 17, 1989, to harness Nigeria's vast natural gas resources and produce Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Natural Gas Liquids (NGLs) for export.

The company has a wholly-owned subsidiary, Bonny Gas Transport (BGT) Limited, which provides shipping services for NLNG and Nigeria LNG Ship Manning Limited which provides personnel for all of NLNG’s Vessels.
Our LNG is delivered to an ever-expanding list of ports in cities around the world. 
NLNG Ship Manning Limited (NSML, subsidiary of Nigeria LNG Limited, seeks to engage personnel for immediate employment in the following positions:
Trainee Electrical Officers – Ref: NSML/2011/004
Location: Onboard LNLG Chartered Ships
The Job: the appointee will be required to maintain electrical installations on board vessels and safely repair all electrical equipment as directed by the Chief Engineer.
The duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
Repair electrical equipment
Maintain integrity of electrical installations
Monitor electrical insulations onboard the vessel.
Undertake fault-finding and repair electrical and electronic systems on board vessels
Carry out other electrical duties as required by the Chief Engineer
The Person: The right person should:
Possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical/Electronics, or MechanicalEngineering or Physics obtained at a minimum of Upper Credit.
Be a good team player with ability to work in a multicultural environment
Be professional and able to carry our tasks with little supervision
Not be more than 25 years old
No experience is required for this position but knowledge of marine electrical installations onboard a vessel will be an added advantage
