Job Description
Development of contracting strategies,  composition and issue of invitations to tender,  bid evaluation and negotiation, preparation and award of the final contract, post award contract administration and reporting and contractor performance management.
The successful candidate would amongst others:

  • Develop together with business area, works and services demand forecast, planning and budgeting to support planned activities and prepare 5 year contract plans within allocated business area or work and service category.
  • Guide Contract Owners/Holders to articulate contract scope, specification, select contracting strategies, and prepare Counter Estimates within allocated customer portfolio based on risk assessment, cost drivers, market analysis, and value optimization (including Nigerian Content).
  • Support Senior/Principal Contract Engineers to develop, implement and maintain category strategies and their performance management pre and post award, to ensure benefits accruing to Company during sourcing and delivery are maximized for allocated categories.
  • Prepare, review and issue enquiries/requests for quotation documents and subsequently analyse bids and lead clarifications and negotiations in collaboration with Tender Evaluation Team (TET) and assist Contract Owners /Holders to prepare, present and defend transaction submissions to Company Tender Committees.
  • Develop and issue contract documents post award, incorporating general and specific terms and conditions as applicable.
  • Attend contract meetings (with Contractors and Contract owners/holders), produce minutes of proceedings and follow-up necessary actions to ensure completion of contract process in line with Company contracting procedures, and assist in the administration of Minor Tender Committees.
  • Advise on and assist in evaluating contract variations, cost forecast, claims, non-conformances, disputes/conflicts, and facilitate contract close out.
Set up and maintain contract data in contract management systems tools, analyse data and prepare reports to support category management as required.
Qualifications

  • A Bachelors degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, Economics or Business Management obtained at a minimum of 2nd Class Lower division/ Lower Credit
  • A member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) UK or Nigeria, or Institute of Supply Management (ISM) (an added advantage)
  • A minimum of 5 years post graduation working experience in a Contracting and Procurement role in a reputable organization
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills

AN/ENG/LMM/0512 LINE MAINTENANCE MANAGER
REPORTS TO: HEAD OF AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE

SUB FUNCTION: N/A

PURPOSE STATEMENT:
The Line Maintenance Manager’s actions have a direct impact upon the safe and economical operation of Company and Customers aircraft fleets. Failure to follow the manufacturer’s documented maintenance procedures and the inability to exercise good Engineering practices could have a serious financial impact on the Company, and have a direct impact on the Customers perception of Air Nigeria’s quality standards.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• The Management and supervision of the personnel to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, OEM data, and company policies and procedures to fully ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requires, OEM data, company policies and procedures to fully ensure safety and operational support for Air Nigeria fleet.
• Lead and coordinate the daily maintenance activities and priorities through continuous two way communication with Operations, Line Maintenance and Maintenance Planning.
• The Line Maintenance Manager must accomplish and administer the operational maintenance activities in an efficient manner within various operational parameters and often under difficult or uncomfortable circumstances.
• Monitoring aircraft internal/external cleanliness and ensuring that the cabin defects level is acceptable and does not adversely affect the comfort of the passenger.
• Assisting the Head of Aircraft Maintenance in ensuring that aircraft maintenance standards are maintained at a correct and acceptable level.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Possession of a sound aircraft engineering background, with at least 10 year’s experience of which 5 years should have been in a certifying role.
• Successful completion of a recognised aeronautical apprenticeship or formal training package. Usual duration 3 to 4 years.
• A good standard of academic qualification in Aeronautical Engineering subjects.
• He must possess both E190 and B737-300/400/500 rating on his Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Licence and company’s approval.
• Radio communication skills.
• They must hold a driving licence and be IT Literate (Experienced on Microsoft Office products)
• They must posses a High level of integrity, Good communicator, Proactive/self starter, Excellent Air Nigeria product knowledge, confident, revenue and cost conscious and multitasking capabilities

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The ISO Implementation Manager is the catalyst for our effort to develop a solid Quality Management System for the organization. He/she will be responsible for ensuring that all necessary ISO 9001 processes are adequately defined, effectively deployed, and continually kept up. The role will also serve as project manager for the design and implementation of the ISO 9001 system, coordinating or providing training to those developing the ISO processes, overseeing the document control function as it pertains to the control of ISO documentation, and coordinating the internal auditors who monitor the compliance and effectiveness of the QMS.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the project management of the entire ISO 9001 implementation life cycle and ensures that the project is completed on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of internal clients.
• Lead, guide and mentor all members of the project team during the implementation.
Additionally, the ISO 9001 Implementation Manager will be responsible for the following:
• Coordinate and support efforts towards the achievement and maintenance of the company’s quality management system to ISO 9001 certification.
• Plan and conduct company-wide awareness and training program on ISO 9001 requirements and quality improvement tools.
• Plan, lead and conduct internal quality systems audits and report findings and recommendations.
• Administer the Corrective and Preventive Action Program.
• Develop, establish and document needed quality assurance processes into procedures and instructions as necessary.
• Identify, implement, drive and provide support to continuous quality improvements, internal and external
• Provide quality reports, analysis and recommendations.
• Perform Internal Quality System Audits.
• Provide support in the documentation, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the company’s quality management system and ISO 9001 requirements.
TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Ability to develop reliable project timelines and deliver against established timelines.
SITUATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

KIND OF PERSON
• An individual that has demonstrated ability to coordinate, direct, implement, strategize and execute tasks to successful completion.

WORK EXPERIENCE
• Minimum five years of working experience in quality management preferably in a continuous process manufacturing environment or in the oil & gas industry.
