greater

Offshore oil and gas production facility design experience – 6 years
or greater
Bachelor of Science (or higher) Electrical / or Electrical and

JOB VACANCY DUTIES AND RESPONSILITIES
The driver/ clerk position in the office fall under direct supervision of the administrative officer/ assistant. She/he is required to follow strict instructions and security guidance provided by !he supervisor. In addition, the incumbent is also required to perform assigned clerical/ maintenance tasks. He/she will be responsible for up keep and maintenance of the assigned UNHCR vehicle(s) as per technical guidance and specifications established by the organization. 
The specific functions include: 
1. Be responsible for the vehicle log book: it requires that the incumbent record/ register all travel and during assignments as per established record (log) book. Failure to have an up to date and accurate log book is considered as violation of driving code of the office;
2. Ensure that all UNHCR vehicles are road worthy and are maintained up to be established security standards; in case a vehicle(s) is not up to standard, he/she should bring it to the immediate attention of the Office administration;
3. Be responsible for UNHCR courier/ pouch service and other errands that maybe required within the administration of the office; 
4. Provide assistance to the UNHCRJUN staff at the immigration and entry/exit points to the country; it involves providing guidance in customs clearance and assisting in immigration formalities;
5. Drive UNHCR vehicles for various official mission, courier services and for other official assignments; as and when transport service is provided to officials passengers (almost always UNHCR/ UN officials or otherwise authorized persons by the Administrative Officer). it is the incumbents responsibility to ensure that the passengers follow the standard security measures during the journey;


QUALIFICATIONS 
• Exposure to routine administrative and maintenance functions of UNHCR country
• Valid national driving license with a minimum of 4 years accident free experience in motor car and 4 wheels drive vehicles for an International organization or a reputed government/ private establishment
• Practical knowledge of UNHCR, its functions and responsibilities.
• Sound knowledge in motor car maintenance and routine mechanical repairs.

• Education and Skills: Completion of the Secondary Education With fluency in the reading, writing and comprehension of the local language(s).

Applicants should possess a minimum of B.Ed. (Hons) (at least Second Class Lower Division) in English Language and M. Ed. in Measurement and Evaluation from a recognized University. A Ph.D will be an added advantage.

Qualifications and Experience

    Applicants should possess a minimum of B.Ed. (Hons) (at least Second Class Lower Division) in either Chemistry, Physics or English and M.Ed. in Educational Measurement and Evaluation from a recognized University.
    A minimum of three years post qualification teaching experience is required
4.)  Accountants
Qualifications and Experience

    Applicants should possess a minimum of Bachelors Degree (at least Second Class Lower Division) from a recognized University and must be Associate Members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) with a minimum of three years post professional qualification experience.
5.)  Internal Auditors
Qualifications and Experience

    The Qualifications and Experience for Internal Auditors are the same as in4 above (Accountants).
6.)  Senior Purchasing / Procurement Officer and Purchasing / Procurement Officer
Qualifications and Experience

    Applicants should possess a minimum of Bachelors Degree (at least Second Class Lower Division) from a recognized University and must be Associate Members of the Institute of Purchasing & Supply Management of Nigeria with a
    minimum of three years (3) post professional qualification experience.
    Applicants for the post of Senior Purchasing/Procurement Officer must have a minimum of six years post professional qualification experience.
7.)  Senior Legal Officer / Legal Officer
Qualifications and Experience

    Applicants should possess a minimum of LL.B Degree (at least Second Class Lower Division) and a B.L and must be members of the Nigerian Bar Association with
    a minimum of three years post qualification experience in Litigation.
    Applicants for the post of senior Legal Officer must have a minimum often years post qualification experience and an LL.M from a recognized University.
8.)  Senior Public Affairs Officer / Public Affairs Officer
Qualifications and Experience

    Applicants should possess a minimum Of Bachelors Degree in Mass Communication (at least Second Class Lower Division) from a recognized University with
    at least three years experience in the Public Affairs Department of a reputable organization or in the editorial or reportorial department of a reputable media outfit.
    Possession of a higher degree and membership of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) will be an added advantage.
    Applicants who have not majored in Mass Communication but who possess graduate diplomas in Mass Communication are also eligible.
    Applicants for the post of Senior Public A flairs Officer must have a minimum of six years post qualification experience.
9.)  System Administrators
Qualifications and Experience

    Applicants should possess a minimum of B.Sc. (at least Second Class Lower Division) in Computer Science or a related field from a recognized University and be Microsoft Certified System Administrators.
10.)  Network Administrators
Qualifications and Experience

    Applicants should possess a minimum of B.Sc (at least Second Class Lower Division) in Computer Science or a related field from a recognized University.
    In addition applicants must be CISCO Certified Network Administrators with at least three years post qualification experience in a Local Area Network (LAN) environment.
General Requirements
NB: Applicants for all positions must (in addition to their degrees and professional qualifications) possess five credits including English Language and Mathematics at a sitting in WASSC/SSCE/GCE "0" Level or six credits including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings in WASSCE/SSCE/GCE "0" Level.
Applicants should not he more than 30 years of age as at the close of applications except those for the positions of Senior Purchasing/ Procurement Officer, Senior Legal Officer and Senior Public Affairs Officer who should not be more than 35 years.
